Die Ausstellung wird von der Sächsischen Landesstiftung Natur und Umwelt (LaNU), dem Landkreis Passau (TFS), dem Bund Naturschutz Hof (BNH) und der Biologischen Station der Städteregion Aachen (BSA) im Rahmen des Artenschutzprojektes "MARA - Margaritifera Restoration Alliance" organisiert. Das Projekt wird im Bundesprogramm Biologische Vielfalt durch das Bundesamt für Naturschutz mit Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Umwelt, Naturschutz und nukleare Sicherheit gefördert.

Die 100 Werke der 51 ausgewählten Künstler*innen werden bis Mai 2024 in folgenden Städten ausgestellt: Bad Elster, Hof, Neuschönau, Regensburg, Passau, Rammenau, Dresden und Köln. Erste Vernissage ist am 22. April 2023, 11:00 Uhr in der Kunstwandelhalle in Bad Elster.

The exhibition is organized by the Saxon State Foundation for Nature and Environment (LaNU), the District of Passau (TFS), the Bund Naturschutz Hof (BNH) and the Biological Station of the Aachen City Region (BSA) as part of the species protection project "MARA - Margaritifera Restoration Alliance" organized. The project is funded by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation with funds from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
The 100 works of the 51 selected artists* will be exhibited until May 2024 in the following cities: Bad Elster, Hof, Neuschönau, Regensburg, Passau, Rammenau, Dresden and Cologne. The first vernissage is on 22 April 2023, 11:00 am in the Kunstwandelhalle in Bad Elster.
